Should you require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) we have a competent energy assessor defined under the National Occupational Standards available to provide an EPC from your property. An EPC can normally be provided within 48 hours of the appointment date. EPCs are a visual representation (on a scale of A-G) of how energy efficient a property is and provide vital information to property owners and tenants about energy used in their buildings.
As you are probably aware all residential and commercial properties now require an EPC from 1st October 2008. An Energy Performance Certificate is required when a building is constructed, sold or rented out. It is the responsibility of the person selling or renting a building to have a valid EPC to show to prospective buyers and tenants. The EPC must be given to the eventual buyer or tenant.
The certificate is valid for ten years, or until a newer EPC is prepared.
Prices start from £70.00 for a one bedroom residential in London and prices can vary depending on the property size and location.
Please call us if you would like us to arrange a visit from an assessor.
